Navigating Trauma
Learn the tools and techniques (plus, find resources) for managing PTSD.
It is estimated 70% of people will experience at least one traumatic event in their lifetime. Despite this, most people do not understand how untreated trauma effects the mind and body, and those with PTSD often do not know how to find the resources they need.
In this course, trauma expert Dr. Arielle Schwartz discusses the effects of PTSD on the mind and body, as well as some helpful tips in finding treatment and alleviating symptoms in daily life. At the end of the course is a collection of audio "grounding practices" designed to help people in a triggered state relax their nervous system and find peace.
