Fending off Compassion Fatigue
Discover the A-Zs of being a caregiver and resources to help you thru it.
Do you spend most of your day caring for other people instead of caring for yourself? If so, you may experience what some psychologists call "Compassion Fatigue". This type of fatigue is common for people who are caring for a loved one, or for people who work in a care-taking profession, such as nursing.
In this course, Dr. Jean Leonard, a licensed psychologist and mindfulness meditation teacher, will teach you powerful techniques to overcome compassion fatigue and learn to find balance in your life. You will learn more about the root causes of compassion fatigue as well as meditations and reflections that will help you manage your fatigue. Finally, you will learn practical skills and tips to take care of yourself through the day that Dr. Leonard has used for clients in her private practice.
